Check timing before the final-exit request
A Saudi Final Exit application should be planned around the current resident ID and passport records, not only a planned departure date. This checklist helps identify records to recheck before an Absher or Muqeem route is used.
Core readiness checks
- Confirm which party will use the service: the resident, sponsor, employer or another authorised account route.
- Check the passport validity shown in the official record. Absher’s final-exit guidance states that the passport must be valid for at least 60 days.
- Check the resident ID expiry. A Saudi Press Agency notice from the General Directorate of Passports describes a minimum 30-day validity condition at request time and a duration that can be limited by remaining ID validity.
- Resolve active obligations, account restrictions or record discrepancies directly in the official system before treating travel arrangements as final.
Why the calendar matters
Official service eligibility is based on current system records. If the resident ID has limited remaining validity, the available final-exit duration can be shorter than the expected travel plan. This is why the date checker is a preparation aid, not an issuance result.
