Qatar Kahramaa Bill Planner
Estimate a Qatar electricity bill using the slab structure this site publishes for Kahramaa planning, plus your own water amount and an optional summer assumption.
Calculate your estimate
Slab-based planning estimate only; Kahramaa issues the actual bill, and account class, meter reading, water tariff and any additional charges can change it
On supported formula tools, a complete set of valid inputs refreshes the estimate automatically. You can always use Calculate estimate to review it again.

Scope of this calculator
Scope in
- Qatar electricity slabs used on this site for planning: 0 to 2,000 kWh at 0.09 QAR, 2,001 to 4,000 kWh at 0.11 QAR, and the balance at 0.16 QAR.
- A water amount you enter yourself.
- An optional summer multiplier you set as your own assumption.
Scope out
- A modelled water tariff — we do not invent water slabs, so you enter the water amount.
- Any weather or seasonal forecast; the summer multiplier is your assumption and not an official weather model.
- Meter reading, account class, arrears, connection deposits and any additional Kahramaa charges.
- The final bill, which only Kahramaa can issue.
Worked example
5,000 kWh with a 1.0 multiplier and QAR 60 of water: the first 2,000 kWh cost 180.00, the next 2,000 kWh cost 220.00, the remaining 1,000 kWh cost 160.00, so electricity is QAR 560.00 and the planning total is QAR 620.00. Set the multiplier to 1.3 and electricity becomes QAR 728.00.
Mini-example: 1,500 kWh with no water entered stays entirely in the first slab and returns QAR 135.00.
How this calculator works
Electricity = (first 2,000 kWh x 0.09) + (next 2,000 kWh x 0.11) + (kWh above 4,000 x 0.16), then multiplied by your summer assumption. Planning total = that electricity figure + the water amount you entered. Slabs are the Qatar planning slabs used on this site; confirm the current tariff with Kahramaa.

Common questions
Short answers for using this tool responsibly.
Which electricity slabs does this use?
The Qatar planning slabs used across this site: the first 2,000 kWh at 0.09 QAR, the next 2,000 kWh at 0.11 QAR, and everything above 4,000 kWh at 0.16 QAR. Confirm the current tariff on the Kahramaa page before relying on it.
Why do I have to type the water amount?
Because we do not publish a water slab we cannot verify. Entering the water amount from your own bill keeps the estimate honest instead of inventing a tariff.
What is the summer multiplier?
It is your own assumption for higher air-conditioning use, applied to the electricity subtotal. It is not an official weather model and not a Kahramaa adjustment. Leave it at 1.0 for a plain calculation.
Is this my actual bill?
No. Kahramaa issues the bill based on your meter reading, account class and any additional charges. This page is a planning estimate you can sanity-check against a real bill.
Why is Qatar a separate page from the GCC utility planner?
Because the Qatar slabs are specific enough to deserve their own page and breakdown, rather than being hidden behind a generic multi-country tool.
Does this include connection deposits?
No. Connection and account-opening amounts vary and are not modelled here. Plan those with your landlord and Kahramaa when you move in.
