Worked example
Leaving with children, an outstanding Kahramaa bill of QAR 450 and a tenancy deposit of QAR 6,000 entered: the checklist returns the eight ordered steps, flags the school leaving certificate as a step you must not skip, and shows the two amounts you entered as open items to close before departure. It does not tell you that you are cleared to leave.
Mini-example: with no kids and nothing outstanding entered, the tool still returns all core steps, because HR clearance and visa cancellation are not optional.

Is this an exit permit or clearance?
No. It is a personal ordered checklist. Visa cancellation and exit handling sit with your sponsor and the Ministry of Interior, and nothing on this page grants permission to leave.
Where do I get my gratuity and notice figures?
Use the Qatar gratuity calculator and the Qatar notice period calculator linked in the checklist steps. This page deliberately does not repeat those formulas.
What about my Kahramaa account?
Close the electricity and water account and settle the final bill before handover. You can size the expected amount with the Qatar Kahramaa bill planner, then confirm the closing balance with Kahramaa.
Do I need a school leaving certificate?
If you have children in school, request the leaving or transfer certificate early, because the next school usually asks for it and requirements vary by school and destination country.
How do I get my tenancy deposit back?
Give notice as your contract requires, agree the condition of the unit in writing, settle utilities, and ask for the deposit release in writing. Deposit practice is a market matter, not a fixed rule this tool can decide.
When should I book flights?
Only after your last working day, cancellation sequence and any dependant timing are clear, because changing tickets is usually more expensive than booking a little later.
