An Absher invoice for dependants is rarely one line. This page breaks it into components so you can see why a total differs from a calculator estimate. The number itself stays on the Saudi dependant fee calculator.
The parts of the bill
- Dependant monthly fee × months × people. This is the part the calculator models: a monthly per-dependant amount, multiplied by the number of months you are paying for and the number of dependants on your file.
- Iqama (residence permit) renewal. A separate item per person, charged on its own cycle, not part of the dependant monthly fee.
- Items that are NOT in the calculator. Work-permit / labour fees for the sponsor, medical insurance renewal, exit-re-entry visas, municipality or delivery charges, and any penalty for a late renewal. These frequently make up the gap between our estimate and the Absher screen.
Why Absher totals differ
Absher bills against your actual file: how many dependants are registered, the exact months remaining, which permits fall due in the same window, and whether anything is overdue. A calculator only knows the numbers you type in. Paying for a different number of months than you assumed, or having one renewal fall inside the same invoice, changes the total immediately.

Fee amounts change by decision and we do not restate them here as current official numbers. Read the fee shown on your own Absher fee screen for the period you are paying, then put that monthly figure into the calculator so the estimate reflects your case.
