Scope of this calculator
Scope in
- Debt burden ratio and affordability signals against published regulator ratio caps.
- Income, existing instalments and proposed instalment you enter.
Scope out
- Bank credit approval decisions and internal scorecards.
- Credit bureau score effects.
Worked example
Example only: AED 20,000 income with AED 4,000 of instalments and a new AED 2,000 instalment gives a 30 percent debt burden ratio against the regulator cap.
How this calculator works
Debt ratio = monthly credit obligations ÷ monthly income × 100. The tool separates the UAE planning ceiling from Saudi’s multi-factor rules and does not state a Qatar regulatory limit.
